hello there,
My journey with flowers started as a child. My Dad and his mum (my grandmother) have always valued the beauty of nature, and encouraged me to value it too. Fast forward a few years, I was a couple of years out of high school and friends had started asking me to do their wedding flowers. I fell in love with it, and decided I was going to make it my career - so I quit university and got my Certificate III in Floristry in 2017 - and I haven't looked back! Since 2017, Gwen Floral Co has bloomed (get it?) and I now have a small but mighty team of assistants who help me with the floral magic.

Our aesthetic is romantic, textural and garden-inspired. We take pride in sourcing the perfect elements to make your florals as personal and unique as possible, only ever selecting the highest quality product. We have an incredibly high standard for everything we create; from the large installations down to the little intricate details in a buttonhole.
I'm inspired by all things romantic and organic, and I delight in using a variety of tones, textures, colours and shapes that nature offers. My desire is to honour the beautiful Creator of these elements, and allow the selection and placement of each flower to reflect divine beauty and grace.

the name
This business is named in honour of my beautiful grandmother, Gwen, who has now passed into eternal glory. She was a florist, painter, gardener, wife and mother, but most of all it was her kind and gentle heart that inspired me. She always nurtured my creative endeavours, from little crafts, seashell collecting, piano-playing, and in her final days, flowers. I pray I honour her creative, kind, gracious and gently legacy through my business.
THE PHILOSOPHY
Since 2017, Gwen Floral Co has quickly bloomed (get it?), and I now have a small but mighty team of talented assistant designers who help with the floral magic.
You can guarantee I'll have a cuppa nearby, whether I'm flowering or doing admin. But if you asked me to pick between tea and coffee, I couldn't tell you! I love both equally!
I always dreamed of helping creative business owners but felt so fearful to start. When COVID hit in 2020, I started my personal brand + online coaching business! I have a Podcast called 'The Imperfect Pursuit'.
I'm married to the best husband, Dave. And we have two little doggos. They are miniature labradoodles!
