There are many factors that go into the delivery + set up fee, such as the location (distance and time of travel required), the number of delivery locations, whether we need to hire a larger vehicle, the amount of staff required to execute the job within the strict timeframe, and whether we need to wait at a location to transfer any ceremony items to the reception. Although we do our best to provide an estimate figure at the time of quoting, it generally cannot be confirmed until a bit closer to the wedding when all of those details can be finalised, but we suggest you allow approximately 10-15% of your flower total for the delivery + set up fee.
How do you charge for delivery + set up?
The amount you invest in your wedding flowers really does depend on your requirements, complexity of style, seasonal availability, location of venues etc. You might have come across wedding blogs suggesting a certain percentage of your total wedding budget being allocated to the florals. This will differ per couple, but for a super vague ballpark, you could budget around 8-15% as a guideline. On average, our clients typically invest $3000-$8,000.

We do not offer standard packages. We take pride in creating high quality, unique floral concepts. Because no two weddings are the same, we custom price each wedding. Some florists may offer lower priced package options, however in these instances you generally don't have as much say in the floral ingredients or style.

We’d suggest getting in touch as soon as you have a date and a venue. For dates in peak periods, we can receive enquiries up to 18 months ahead, and as we don’t hold dates until a booking is made and booking fee is paid, it’s best to book early to avoid disappointment. We can make changes to your quote any time from booking up to 4 weeks before your wedding. Please note: for enquiries for events more than 12 months in advance, we are only able to provide an estimate. Although we endeavour to avoid drastic price changes, we aren't able to guarantee prices until 12 months or less until the event. In this situation, we'd recommend you allocate an extra 15% for potential price increases.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING?
No, we are home-based. Keeping it real, we work from our less-than-fancy garage. We specialise in weddings only and don't offer retail flowers, unless they have been pre-ordered.

We can offer basic styling. We have a small but intentional collection of hire items such as candles and candlesticks, table runners, arbour draping and various vessels. We have connections with various hire companies so are happy to help coordinate the styling for you. The fee will depend on your requirements.
DO YOU OFFER STYLING?
While we specialise in full-service wedding floral design, we occasionally can assist with elopements or small orders. This will depend on the date and our availability, so please get in touch if you have any questions.
