Brisbane couple, Kacie and Mitch, tied the knot at the beautiful Sirromet Winery at Mount Cotton, and we were so honoured to create the florals for their special day.

Kacie was such a dream to work with. Kacie approached us around 12 months before her wedding with a particular vision in mind. Originally Kacie wanted a garden-inspired concept with lots of greenery. Little did we know that her vision would drastically evolve! After a consultation and collating loads of inspiration, Kacie adjusted her concept to a more lush, modern and luxe style, and we loved being involved in Kacie and Mitch’s stunning wedding day!

The wedding was adorned with lush, romantic modern florals in a feminine palette with beautiful dried accents. Delicious!

Fresh whites, ivory, soft blush and dusty rose as the main colour palette with neutral dried accents.

Beautiful quicksand roses and cappucino roses stole the show, along with gorgeous orchids and other floral varieties. As a stark contrast to the original concept, Kacie specifically requested no greenery. Instead we incorporated lots of interesting and dried textures such as dried palms, pampas grass, dried bracken fern, bunny tails and even some sneaky gold spray-painted tropical leaves made their way into the mix for a little bit of ‘extra’.

Kacie completely trusted us to create some floral magic for her and Mitch’s wedding. When a bride can appreciate our creative skill and can entrust her floral designs into our hands, we find that more often than not, these end up being our most beautiful (and favourite) weddings!

Kacie and Mitch’s wedding was captured by the beautifully talented Amy and Chris from About Time Co. We love working with these two because not only are they SUPER fun and lovely people, they are amazingly talented photographers. We love when they photograph our florals!
