Boho Luxe Styled Shoot at The Rocks Yandina

December 6, 2020

Wedding Inspiration

back

The luxe boho trend for weddings has been getting increasingly popular over the last few years, and we don’t see that changing for a while!

The dried elements paired with lush fresh florals creates a beautiful blend of boho/modern/edgy and romantic/soft/sophisticated.

We teamed up with an incredible team of wedding professionals to bring together this stunning boho luxe styled shoot at the gorgeous venue, The Rocks in Yandina, Queensland. Montville Yurts provided the stunning yurt which was positioned by the riverbank. The photoshoot was coordinated by The Bride’s Tree, a wonderful wedding resource and directory for the Sunshine Coast, and was captured by Nicola Holland Photography.

The Florals

The florals were a blend of whites, blush, soft pinks and toffee tones. We incorporated the dried and preserved elements along with some gorgeous burgundy foliages.

The bridal bouquet featured AAALLL of our favourite things: orchids, quicksand roses, toffee roses and more. We love designing bouquets in our signature wide-round style as it creates such an effortless look.

The umm, what about that hanging installation?! She was a bit of a show stopper, let me tell you. With various dried palms, burgundy foliages and lush blooms, this beauty made such a statement in the yurt, provided by Montville Yurts. Hanging installations can be a bit of an investment, but LOOK at the impact that they make. *insert all the heart eyes*

Ant those sweet table centrepieces… The freestanding long and low floral designs are perfect for long tables. Sure, we do love using beautiful vessels too, but the benefit of freestanding arrangements is that guests can take them home after the wedding (whereas with arrangements in vases, they obviously can’t take the vases home with them). Also, I am a big fan of the general look of freestanding arrangements too – it’s like having these glorious miniature ‘gardens’ growing from your table – AND you know they aren’t going to be too tall and block your guest’s view. Win win win!

This styled shoot was featured in Volume 32 of The Bride’s Tree magazine. You can check it out for free here!
